How do I add a new Label for my Certified Product ?

If you have a new or updated label that you wish to use on your certified product, you need to submit the label to Australian Certified Organic so that we can asseess it to the appropriate standard. To submit a new or updated label, do the following :

If the product has not been approved
In this case you will need to follow the process outlined in How do I add a new Product to my Certificate section.

If the product has been approved, have there been changes to any ingredients, proportions of ingredients or ingredient suppliers that ACO need to be notified about?
This is an important step, and one that many people get wrong. The first thing you need to do when submitting a new label, is make sure the ingredients on the ingredients panel are the same as the currently approved label for your certified product. If there are any changes, then this is deemed to be a new product, and you will need to follow the process outlined in How do I add a new Product to my Certificate section.

This step is often overlooked by people, but can make all the difference in a smooth evaluation. You need to read the appropriate labelling rules to satisfy yourself that your new label meets the requirements :

You will need to send us the artwork for the labels. Production artwork is ideal. We can accept PDF, JPG and PNG files. We don't need super high resolution images - just images that are clear enough for us to read the smallest font.

Once you have your artwork ready, you then need to lodge this information with ACO's service desk. If you haven't used ACO's service desk before, then please click here for help on how to do that.

A Single Ingredient Change Means it's a New Product

Please note that this process only applies if there have been no ingredient changes to your product. If there have been ingredient changes - even a single minor ingredient, you will need to follow the process outlined in How do I add a new Product to my Certificate section.
