Biosecurity alert: Tomato potato psyllid

The Western Australian Government has issued a Biosecurity alert for the Tomato Potato Psyllid.

There is a quarantine notice now in place for the Perth metropolitan area together with the shires of Murray, Chittering and Gingin, to limit the spread of tomato potato psyllid. The Notice imposes certain restrictions on the movement of commercially-grown vegetables and nursery stock, and other materials that could spread tomato potato psyllid, produced in the Quarantine Area (QA).
